KAREN BOISSONNEAULT-GAUTHIER
Karen is a Stittsville, Ontario Indigenous writer and photographer. Her images are produced intuitively using digital photography. As an internationally published person, she cuts her teeth creating written and visual works for the best companies, corporate magazines and literary publications. Karen has been nominated "Best of the Net" artist for 2024 and 2022.
She has created cover art for Door = Jar, The Unmooring, Synkroniciti, The Pine Cone Review, Arachne Press, Wild Musette, Hais, Gigantic Sequins, Vine Leaves Literary Journal, The Gateway Review, Crack the Spine and Doubleback Review. Her images were in Art in the Time of Covid-19, hitting Amazon's #1 new release in poetry for 2020. Karen was a New York City cover finalist for New Reader Magazine. Her short story "Toast Crumbs" was performed in the U.K.'s 2018 Solstice Shorts Festival for Arts Council England's National Short Story Day and her work is featured on Amazon, Kindle, IndieBound, Barnes and Nobel, and Walmart.
Many written works appear in publications such as New Feathers Anthology, Vox Popular Media Arts Festival, The Solstice Shorts Festival, The Strong Women Art Anthology, Synaesthesia Magazine, Scarborough Big Arts Book, Calliope Magazine of New York ~ 2015 winner of best U.S. poetry mag ~ Los Angeles' Gutters and Alleyways, The Tishman Review, Sand Canyon Review, Silver Birch Press, New York's WebSafe2K16, Zoetic Press, Connotation Press and New South Wales' Long Exposure Magazine have published her work. She's been interviewed by Arachne Press and Crack the Spine.
