Writing the news and meeting people was a great opportunity
to learn about my community, and the written word. Everyone has a story to share. I'm grateful for the experience.
I was able to meet amazing people during my time at The Ottawa Citizen. I learned to collaborate, listen, manage content creatively, and make great copy. My favourite article was about spanking..., because I was given the entire front page of the Family Section with custom artwork. Love a full page!
